Beer Reviews

There are all sorts of new beers on the
North American Beers page
and the
Belgian Beers Page

What you have here is a personal site on which I want to record some things as I have experienced them and as I find them. If you have done this yourself, you might have encountered what I am encountering as I go along: utter surprise about events, people, moments in life - as I did with the picture of me as a foundryman below. I really didn’t know what had happened to the Pegasus - so went looking after I posted the picture. Interesting, the things you find and the subtle ways in which one’s own history and that of others diverges. But then that will be one of my topics eventually.

The site won’t be just about me or my life. It will be an eclectic exploration, full of whimsy - very like my life. I will follow no particular rules. I hope that you, my guest, will enjoy it as much as I do.

Check in every now and again. I will be changing pictures, adding links, musing about things, inviting musings from others. Like that.

And please do take a look at my blog, Overtones, which is on this site. Overtones is a record of the day to day joy and excitement I find in life. Sometimes it won’t exactly look like joy. But at least I will have experienced great joy in putting it together.

Ed as Foundryman, MIT, 1959.

Two important artifacts: a historic casting named “Pegasus” (Alfred Duca, artist) and Ed’s hair.
To learn about
Alfred Duca and about the historical significance of his “Pegasus” and where it flew to, just click on the links.
There is no record of where Ed’s hair flew to. Its historical significance is pate-ent.

Ed as Exercise Maven, 1998
Note that both Pegasus and hair are absent
